NexentaStor on Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V

Just a quick post for people looking at running NexentaStor on Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V.  In order to get NexentaStor working in Hyper-V, you need to make sure you use a Legacy Network Adapter for the network cards as well as IDE controllers/drives. The paravirtualized network and scsi adapters don’t seem to be detected out of the box.

As a side note, I was unable to get great performance out of my setup (it’s actually pretty bad), I’m suspecting the use of unoptimized virtual devices might be at fault here. If anyone knows how to install the paravirtualized drivers in NexentaStor for Hyper-V 2012, let me know!
