I am also facing the same problem with a custom ADO.NET provider. The “Table or View” data access mode just does not work. The log from my provider shows that GetDataSourceInformation was called and after that a close connection.
The only way that I could work on SSIS is to use the “SQL Command” data access mode, where it allows me to write the sql query for the ADO.NET source.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
